SAYUR REBUNG WEST BORNEO KALIMANTAN DI JAMIN JOS

Indonesia is rich in spices and cooking as is the case with this bamboo shoot in my area, let's take a look at the recipe.
Material :

  1. 500 gr young bamboo shoots, thinly sliced
  2. 100 gr of fresh shrimp, discard the head and peel the skin
  3. 700 ml thick coconut milk
  4. 1 bar lemongrass, bruised
  5. 1 segment of galangal, grated
  6. 2 bay leaves
  7. 2 orange leaves, remove the back of the leaves
  8. salt to taste
  9. enough sugar


How to make:
Boil the bamboo shoots with 1 tablespoon of sugar until cooked so that the odor and bitter taste disappear. Discard the cooking water and wash the bamboo shoots with warm water. Set it aside.
SautƩ the spices, add lemongrass, bay leaves, galangal, and orange leaves. Saute until fragrant. Add sauteed shrimp until it changes color.
Add enough coconut milk, salt and sugar. Add the bamboo shoots and cook until the broth shrinks or until the spices are absorbed very easily isn't it.
